"Nesting boxes" is a term that describes species-specific bird houses that are made with specific dimensions and entrance holes. They are traditionally left rough-sewn and without paint or stain. Our bluebird houses are designed with proper entrance hole size, ventilation, drainage, and interior dimensions. They can be mounted singly or in multiples along a path to form what is known as a "bluebird trail." To make putting up a bluebird trail economical, we offer a few of our most popular bluebird house styles in specially priced packages of 3 or 4.

Purple martin bird houses are another immensely popular style of house. People who put up a purple martin bird house are not just recreational backyard birders, they're purple martin "landlords" since these birds come back to the same houses year after year and are soley dependant on the houses we provide them. Other species of birds like to nest in cavities too. Wrens are popular songbirds, and many people eagerly put up wren house to attract these sweet singers during nesting season.
